Module 5: Start Auto Mode

A quick checklist to turn on automated insulin delivery.

  • Tap the Auto Mode icon (top of screen).
  • Pre-check screen: confirm basal, insulin sensitivity, active insulin time, TDD, CGM paired, pump ready — all must show blue.
  • Confirm no insulin was taken by any method in the last 5 hours.
  • Enter a BG value (or use the paired CGM reading).
  • You’ll hear a confirmation tone; the Auto Mode icon turns blue.
